Information We Collect
Information Stored Locally on Your Device
EchoLetters stores the following data locally on your device to provide game functionality:
- Game Progress: Current level, completed levels, star ratings, and achievements
- Player Profile: In-game currency balance, unlocked cosmetics, and theme preferences
- Gameplay Statistics: Daily and weekly challenge completion, login streaks
- Symbol Codex: Discovered symbols and their translations
This information is stored using Apple's UserDefaults and never leaves your device unless you enable iCloud Sync.
iCloud Sync (Optional)
If you choose to enable iCloud Sync in the app settings, your game progress is synchronized across your Apple devices using Apple's iCloud Key-Value Storage. This data is:
- Encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple
- Stored securely in your personal iCloud account
- Accessible only by you and your devices
- Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy
You can disable iCloud Sync at any time in the app settings.
Information We Do NOT Collect
EchoLetters does NOT collect, store, or transmit:
- Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
- Location data
- Device identifiers for tracking purposes
- Usage analytics or behavioral data
- Advertising identifiers
- Any data to third-party services
Third-Party Services
EchoLetters does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only external service used is Apple's iCloud, which is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Data Security
All game data is stored locally on your device using Apple's secure storage mechanisms. If you use iCloud Sync, your data is protected by Apple's enterprise-grade security infrastructure.
Children's Privacy
EchoLetters does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. The app is suitable for all ages and does not require any personal information to use.
Data Retention and Deletion
Your game data remains on your device until you:
- Delete the app (removes all local data)
- Use the "Reset Progress" feature in Settings
- Disable iCloud Sync and remove data from iCloud via iOS Settings

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document.
